06.06.2020 – Charity Event for Collecting Plastic Bottle Caps on the Square in Front of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Varna

Due to the introduction of epidemiological measures related to COVID-19 and the cancellation of the originally planned event in early April, the first charity event of 2020 was held on Saturday, June 6, 2020. On the square in front of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Varna, metal barriers, caution tape, and strict movement control measures were implemented in compliance with official safety guidelines, which the “I Believe and Help” Charitable Campaign fully adhered to. Despite the restrictions, together with thousands of supporters, we successfully collected 25,000 kilograms of plastic bottle caps in a single day. This amount brought the total collected since the beginning of the campaign to an exceptional milestone of over 143,000 kilograms of plastic caps.
