29.04.2023 – Charity Event for Collecting Plastic Bottle Caps on the Square in Front of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Varna

We began 2023 with another large-scale event under the title “Recycling Festival – I Believe and Help”, held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, on the square in front of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Varna. More than 20,000 people attended the event, and together we collected an incredible 31,000 kilograms of plastic bottle caps, as well as BGN 17,746.40 in coins, including all denominations: BGN 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 1.00, and 2.00. At the same time, our charity market raised BGN 13,444.50 through donations, offering a wide range of “products with a cause”, including: “Water with a cause” – 0.5L bottles by AQUA BELLA (www.aquabella.bg), spelt-based goods by PERUN (www.perun.bg): “Pretzels with a Cause,” “Noodles with a Cause,” and “Couscous with a Cause”, “T-shirts with a cause” and “Mugs with a cause” from WWW.BUHALMUGS.COM, and many other meaningful products and items made available at the donation stand. We are grateful to everyone who supported the campaign and helped us start the year with such strength and unity!
