Donation No. 1
We launched the “I Believe and Help” Charitable Campaign in 2015 with 0 (zero) BGN and 0 (zero) kilograms of plastic caps collected. However, within just a few months, together with thousands of people, we managed to collect just over 4,000 kilograms of plastic caps, which we handed over for recycling – both to support the environment and a greater cause.
Thus, on July 14, 2016, only a few months after our founding and following consultations with medical specialists, we purchased and donated our first medical equipment to support thousands of babies – a mobile aspiration system for thoracic drainage in cases of pneumothorax. The donation was made to the Neonatal Unit of the University Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital “Prof. Dr. Dimitar Stamatoff” – Varna. We chose to donate the equipment to this hospital because it holds the highest Level III of competence in neonatology and serves thousands of patients and premature babies from across Eastern and Northeastern Bulgaria.
