The first-ever specialized and fully equipped pediatric/neonatal ambulance for the city of Varna, branded “I Believe and Help” and valued at over BGN 260,000, was officially presented on February 16, 2023, at the Mercedes-Benz Silver Star Retail showroom in Varna. Vladislav Nikolov, Chairman of the “I Believe and Help” Association, handed over the keys to Dr. Maya Rasheva, Director of the Emergency Medical Services Center – Varna (EMSC – Varna), in the presence of Mr Nikolay Fandakov, Head of Truck Sales at Silver Star Bulgaria, Mustafa Kadir, representative of the Turkish vehicle conversion company Emergency Mobile Systems (EMS), the Bulgarian partner company Emergency Mobile Systems Ltd., Rossen Nikolov, Sales Director at Dutchmed International Ltd., as well as numerous guests, journalists, and media representatives
The pediatric ambulance was purchased with funds raised through collected plastic bottle caps, numerous charity bazaars, tens of thousands of coins, and thousands of BGN donated by families, companies, and organizations.
The “I Believe and Help” pediatric/neonatal ambulance was donated to the paramedics, pediatricians, and emergency physicians at the Emergency Medical Services Center – Varna (EMSC – Varna) in support of their tireless daily efforts and professional dedication to saving thousands of lives. This ambulance is equipped to the highest standards with state-of-the-art medical devices, purchased from Dutchmed International Ltd., a supplier representing some of the world’s leading high-tech medical manufacturers. Among the advanced equipment installed in the ambulance is a specialized next-generation Japanese neonatal incubator, mounted on a custom transport trolley, designed to support the most vulnerable premature babies in their critical early struggle for life. The “I Believe and Help” pediatric/neonatal ambulance was specially designed to accommodate both newborns and children from 0 to 18 years old, as well as adult patients. Thanks to the Bulgarian representatives of the Mercedes-Benz brand and their collaboration with one of the world’s leading companies in specialized vehicle conversions – the Turkish-based Emergency Mobile Systems (EMS) Inc., along with their official Bulgarian partner, Emergency Mobile Systems Ltd., the result is nothing short of outstanding.
