Donation No. 8, No.9, No.10 and No.11
On August 26, 2019, the Department of Pediatric Surgery at “St. Anna – Varna” University Hospital received four new donations from the “I Believe and Help” Association. The donations were warmly and gratefully received by Dr. Anton Stanev – Deputy Director of “St. Anna – Varna” University Hospital, and Dr. Rumen Hristov – Head of the Pediatric Surgery Department at the same hospital. The donation included three high-end infusion therapy pumps and one patient monitor. Specifically, the infusion pumps consisted of two Compact Plus syringe pumps and one Compact Plus infusion pump – all of the latest generation, produced by the leading German manufacturer B. Braun Melsungen AG. This specialized medical equipment supports the process of infusion therapy, allowing for precise dosing of both volume and flow rate for various medications, whether in small or large quantities. It ensures accurate infusion rates and medication dosing, enhancing safety and maintaining a high level of therapeutic reliability for intensive care patients around the clock. The donated patient monitor is designed for use in operating rooms, recovery units, and intensive care departments, and is suitable for both newborns and adult patients.
