We at the “I Believe and Help” Charitable Campaign are happy to share yet another impressive achievement from our recent large-scale donation event held on April, 20, 2024, in front of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Varna.
Despite the bad weather, the results were remarkable! We collected just over BGN 14,000 from coins alone. The exact amount – BGN 14,066.24 – included coins of every denomination (BGN 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 1.00, and 2.00), as well as one BGN 5 banknote. All coins were cleaned, sorted, and counted free of charge by our amazing partners at monotes.bg.
Until now, the total amount raised only from coins over our recent charity events stood at BGN 64,498.73. We are now proud to announce a new combined total of BGN 78,569.97 raised in support of the “I Believe and Help” Charitable Campaign.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who believes in our causes and collects plastic bottle caps, coins, makes monetary donations to our official account, or buys from our “products with a cause”. We are especially grateful to all our volunteers – without you, this success would have remained a dream.
Let’s not forget that on April 20, 2024, during the 10th anniversary event of our bottle cap, coin, and donation drive, thousands of people from across Bulgaria participated, despite heavy rain and cold winds, by bringing their collected plastic caps. The day ended with a record-breaking total for such conditions – 26,000 kilograms of caps, with a monetary value of BGN 19,500, which was deposited into our official bank account.

The cold rain and strong winds didn’t stop the hundreds of people who visited our “I Believe and Help” charity bazaar. Every visitor had the opportunity to make a donation and receive one of the many “products with a cause” generously provided by our partners, including:
• “Water with a cause” in bottles of 0.5L, 1.5L, 5L, and 10L, produced by the AQUA BELLA brand;
• “Pretzels with a cause”, “Noodles with a cause”, and “Couscous with a cause” made from spelt, produced under the PERUN brand;
• “Children’s pretzels with a cause” and “Bread with a cause”, produced under the Zlatna Dobrudzha brand by the company SAVIMEX;
• “T-shirts with a cause” and “Mugs with a cause”, featuring the “I Believe and Help” children’s ambulance and mobile blood donation unit, created by BUHALMUGS.COM;
• “Air fresheners with a cause” designed with the image of the “I Believe and Help” children’s ambulance, produced by the AREON brand;
• “Stickers with a cause” (for cars, vans, or trucks);
• “Keychains with a cause” and “Magnets with a cause”, featuring the “I Believe and Help” children’s ambulance and mobile blood donation unit, produced by STEMAPRINT.NET;
• Wine from ANGEL’S ESTATE;
• Cookies, gingerbread, orange bears, sourdough bread, panettone, and many other delicious treats from “ZLATNOTO ZRANCE” Bakery & Stores.
Thanks to all the cause-branded products and items donated entirely free of charge by our partners, and the generosity of hundreds of supporters at the bazaar, a total of BGN 9,209.50 was raised and deposited into our official bank account in support of our causes.
For the first time, we were also joined by our newest “partners with a cause” – FRATELLI Restaurants & Pizzerias, who donated and delivered 200 freshly baked “pizzas with a cause” for our volunteers. Our friends at SOFRESH.BG took care of us with a donation of over 200 lemonades. To our great delight, SKYFOODBG.COM joined the effort by donating and delivering more than 300 delicious sandwiches, and the professionals at the pastry shop “SKLADAT” OOD / Wine & Liquor Store once again prepared hundreds of handmade sweets for the event.
