Tons of Bottle Caps, Hundreds of Thousands of Coins, and Donation

The 11th major “I Believe and Help” bottle cap, coin, and donation collection event took place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in front of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Varna.
During the event, 19,500 kilograms of plastic bottle caps were collected – caps that, instead of ending up in nature, were sent for recycling. This recycling effort raised BGN 14,625, which was deposited into the official bank account of the campaign, where anyone can donate in support of our causes:

As with every event, an “I Believe and Help” charity bazaar was held, where participants could receive products with a cause from our amazing partners in exchange for a donation, including:

“Water with a cause” in 0.5L, 1.5L, 5L, and 10L bottles, produced under the brand AQUA BELLA;
“Pretzels with a cause,” “Noodles with a cause,” and “Couscous with a cause” made from spelt, produced by the brand PERUN;
“Children’s pretzels with a cause” and “Bread with a cause,” made by the brand Zlatna Dobrudzha, by the company SAVIMEX;
“T-shirts with a cause” and “Mugs with a cause” featuring the “I Believe and Help” children’s ambulance and mobile blood donation unit, made by BUHALMUGS.COM;
“Air fresheners with a cause” featuring the design of the “I Believe and Help” children’s ambulance, produced by AREON;
“Stickers with a cause” (for cars, vans, or trucks);
“Keychains with a cause” and “Magnets with a cause” with the “I Believe and Help” children’s ambulance and mobile blood donation unit from STEMAPRINT.NET
Biscuits, honey cookies, orange bears, sourdough bread, panettone, and many more goodies from “ZLATNOTO ZRANCE” Bakeries & Stores.

Thanks to all the generously donated products and items with a cause from our partners, and to the hundreds of donors who participated in the bazaar, we raised an additional BGN 10,084, which was deposited into our official and only bank account in support of our causes and the millions of people we serve in Bulgaria.

During the event, we once again received support from our “partners with a cause” at the FRATELLI.BG Restaurants & Pizzerias, who donated and delivered 150 freshly baked “pizzas with a cause” to the volunteers at Cathedral Square. Our friends from SOFRESH.BG also took care of us by donating nearly 200 lemonades.
To our great delight, the delicious sandwiches from NUTRIO.BAR – around 200 in total – were also provided in support of the volunteers. The professionals at the pastry shop “SKLADAT” OOD / Wine & Liquor Store once again handcrafted hundreds of sweets for the event.

We also collected coins of various denominations: BGN 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 1.00, and 2.00. All collected coins were transported under police escort to the cash center of monotes.bg, where they will be sorted and counted free of charge in support of our campaign, after which the funds will be deposited into our official account.

We, the organizers of the “I Believe and Help” Charitable Campaign, extend our heartfelt gratitude to the hundreds of volunteers on the square and in the bottle cap sorting facility, the dozens of police officers, all of our “partners with a cause”, and last but not least, the thousands of people who donated their caps, coins, or financial contributions throughout the event.
