Today, on December 11, 2024, the “I Believe and Help” Charitable Campaign donated yet another brand-new, fully equipped specialized neonatal ambulance under the name “I Believe and Help” to support the medical teams at the Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment in Obstetrics and Gynecology (SHATOG) “Prof. Dr. Dimitar Stamatov” – Varna, where thousands of babies are born every year. The neonatal ambulance “I Believe and Help” is outfitted to the highest international standards, equipped with state-of-the-art medical devices, including a specialized next-generation Japanese neonatal incubator to support the most fragile patients from the moment of birth. The transformation of the Mercedes transport vehicle into the “I Believe and Help” neonatal ambulance was carried out by the outstanding professionals from the Turkish company “EMS” and Emergency Mobile Systems Ltd.
In the courtyard of SHATOG “Prof. Dr. Dimitar Stamatov” – Varna, Vladislav Nikolov and Antonia Antonova, founders of the “I Believe and Help” Charitable Campaign, presented the keys of the neonatal ambulance to Prof. Dr. Emil Kovachev, Director of the hospital, with the heartfelt wish that it be used in good health and longevity in service to the smallest patients and the medical specialists who care for them.During the donation ceremony and press conference, Vladislav Nikolov reminded the public that, to date, the “I Believe and Help” Charitable Campaign has donated over BGN 800,000, including more than 25 pieces of medical equipment, devices, technology, hundreds of medical supplies and instruments, the first pediatric/neonatal ambulance “I Believe and Help” in Varna, and also the first mobile blood donation unit (ambulance) “I Believe and Help” in Bulgaria – all in support of thousands of babies, children, and adults.
The donation was blessed by Father Yasen from the Varna and Veliki Preslav Diocese. The event was attended by numerous guests, including:
