Donation No. 2
On September 19, 2016, just two months after our first donation of a mobile aspiration system for thoracic drainage in cases of pneumothorax to the University Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital “Prof. Dr. Dimitar Stamatoff” – Varna, we took a significant next step.
We purchased and donated our second piece of medical equipment, marking our first donation to the Neonatology Department of St. Anna University Hospital – Varna. We provided the medical team there with a high-precision American neonatal vein viewer, designed specifically for newborns. This device helps locate veins more easily in the tiny arms of babies, significantly reducing unnecessary needle punctures when inserting IV lines.
Thanks to the support of thousands of people, we managed to collect over 8,000 kilograms of plastic caps and monetary donations through the “I Believe and Help” Charitable Campaign, making this donation and our mission possible.
