Major Cap, Coin & Donation Drive Held on Sept. 30 in Front of Varna Cathedral

Event for Collecting Plastic Caps, Coins, and Monetary Donations

On September 30, 2023, the 9th edition of the large-scale event “Recycling Festival – I Believe and Help” took place, bringing together tens of thousands of people who donated plastic caps, coins, and monetary contributions in support of the Campaign’s charitable causes.
Once again, participants came from all over the country to hand over their collected plastic caps, with a total of 24,000 kilograms collected in a single day – equivalent to BGN 18,000. At the same time, coins of all denominations (BGN 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 1, and 2) were gathered, raising a total of BGN 17,270.
Visitors also supported the cause by stopping at the “I Believe and Help” charity bazaar, where they could make a donation in exchange for various “products with a cause”, including:
• “Water with a cause” in 0.5L, 1.5L, 5L, and 10L bottles, produced by the company under the brand AQUA BELLA (aquabella.bg) ;
• “Spelt pretzels with a cause”, “Noodles with a cause”, and “Couscous with a cause”, from the brand PERUN (perun.bg) ;
• “Children’s Pretzels with a cause” and “Bread with a cause”, under the Zlatna Dobrudzha brand by the company SAVIMEX (savimex.bg) ;
• “T-shirts with a cause” and “Mugs with a cause”, featuring the “I Believe and Help” children’s ambulance and mobile blood donation unit, produced by BUHALMUGS.COM;
• “Air fresheners with a cause” designed as the children’s ambulance, made by the company AREON (areon.bg) ;
• “Stickers with a cause” (for cars, vans, or trucks);
• “Keychains with a cause” and “Magnets with a cause”, all themed with the “I Believe and Help” children’s ambulance and mobile blood donation unit, and many more heartfelt items.

Once again, we received incredible support from amazing food partners who donated hundreds of sandwiches, fresh salads, and drinks for our hardworking volunteers. We are deeply grateful to NUTRIO BAR (nutrio.bar), SO FRESH (sofresh.bg), and THE SANDWICH BANDITS (facebook.com/sandwichbandits) for their generous contributions that kept our volunteers energized throughout the day

Thanks to hundreds of donors and the purchased “products with a cause” at the bazaar, we raised an impressive BGN 18,587!

Together with thousands of participants, we successfully collected a total of BGN 53,857 in just one day, all in support of our life-changing causes!
