Official Launch of Bulgaria’s Largest National Cause: “Let’s Buy and Donate Mobile Blood Donation Units’”

The “I Believe and Help” Association has officially launched a national cause titled: “LET’S BUY AND DONATE MOBILE BLOOD DONATION UNITS IN BULGARIA.”
A press conference was held at the Regional Center for Transfusion Hematology (RCTH) – Plovdiv, where Vladislav Nikolov – founder of the “I Believe and Help” Charity Campaign – announced the beginning of this new national initiative. Present at the event were Dr. Yanko Yankov, Director of RCTH – Plovdiv, and Mr. Mustafa Kadir, representative of EMS Company, one of the leading firms in the field of specialized vehicle customization.
The goal of the national cause “LET’S BUY AND DONATE MOBILE BLOOD DONATION UNITS IN BULGARIA” is to raise funds as quickly as possible to purchase and donate mobile blood donation vehicles. These specialized transport units aim to support and increase the number of voluntary blood donors across the country. The first vehicle will be donated to RCTH Plovdiv, a major city symbolic of unity and with a high population in need of expanded access to donation infrastructure.

The fundraising for the purchase of various medical equipment, devices, technologies, children’s ambulances, and other specialized vehicles is carried out in several ways, the main one being through “products with a cause” under the initiative “I Believe and Help.” At present, the initiative is supported by several companies, thanks to which more than 15 types of cause-related products and items are available for purchase both online and in retail outlets across the country. These include water, children’s pretzels, bread, boza, pizza, noodles, couscous, spelt pretzels, mugs, t-shirts, and many other “products with a cause”. A designated percentage of each sale is donated to the cause. As a result of this initiative, the association raises funds for the purchase of high-cost medical equipment, devices, and specialized vehicles.
“LET’S PURCHASE AND DONATE MOBILE BLOOD DONATION UNITS IN BULGARIA” cause of the “I Believe and Help” Charitable Campaign aims to establish partnerships with companies, manufacturers, distributors, and businesses across Bulgaria by signing official cause-driven partnership agreements. This allows every supporter of the campaign to participate in the cause daily – simply by purchasing “products with a cause”.
That way, whenever someone buys a loaf of “Bread with a cause” or any other “product with a cause” in Plovdiv, Haskovo, Blagoevgrad, Vidin, or Burgas, they will know that part of the purchase goes toward funding modern and fully functional mobile blood donation units under the “I Believe and Help” name, serving millions of people in Bulgaria.
Over the past ten years, more than 22 specialized medical devices have been donated, including incubators, neonatal warming stations, neonatal vein finders, medical tools and accessories that support healthcare specialists in their work with thousands of patients – both children and adults.
The greatest achievement of “I Believe and Help” came at the beginning of 2023, with the purchase and donation of Varna’s first specialized and fully equipped “I Believe and Help” pediatric/neonatal ambulance, custom-built to meet the needs of patients ranging from newborn babies only hours old to elderly individuals in critical condition
Later in 2023, a specially equipped mobile blood donation unit under the “I Believe and Help” name was also donated. For several months now, it has been actively promoting and supporting the importance of voluntary blood donation, helping millions of people in need.
