The Goal for 2025: Bulgaria’s Largest National Cause — “LET’S PURCHASE AND DONATE MOBILE BLOOD DONATION UNITS IN BULGARIA”

The “I BELIEVE AND HELP” ASSOCIATION has launched a nationwide initiative titled:
“LET’S PURCHASE AND DONATE MOBILE BLOOD DONATION UNITS IN BULGARIA.”

The aim of this national cause is to raise approximately BGN 1,000,000 (one million leva) to fund the purchase and donation of five new mobile blood donation units (blood donation ambulances) for the Regional Centers for Transfusion Hematology (RCTH) in the cities of Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Pleven, Sofia, and Burgas. The primary purpose of these mobile units is to support and increase interest in voluntary blood donation across the country. The first of the five new vehicles will be donated to RCTH Plovdiv, one of Bulgaria’s largest and most populous cities and a symbol of national unity.

Funds for the purchase of various types of medical equipment, technology, pediatric ambulances, and other specialized vehicles are raised through several channels – the main one being “products with a cause” under the “I BELIEVE AND HELP” initiative.

Currently, the campaign is supported by several companies. Thanks to their involvement, there are now more than 55 cause-branded products and items available both online and in retail outlets across the country. These include:
Water, children’s pretzels, bread, boza, pizza, noodles, couscous, spelt pretzels, mugs, t-shirts, and many more.
A designated percentage from the sale of each product is donated directly to the campaign. Through this initiative, the association raises funds to purchase high-cost medical equipment, devices, supplies, and specialized vehicles.

In support of the new nationwide campaign “LET’S PURCHASE AND DONATE MOBILE BLOOD DONATION UNITS IN BULGARIA,” the “I BELIEVE AND HELP” Charitable Campaign is reaching out to companies, businesses, manufacturers, distributors, and other stakeholders across the country to establish official cause-based partnership agreements.

Through these partnerships, anyone who supports the campaign’s mission can contribute daily – simply by offering or purchasing “products with a cause”.
That means every time someone buys “Bread with a cause” or another participating product in cities like Plovdiv, Haskovo, Blagoevgrad, Vidin, or Burgas, a portion of that purchase will directly support the funding of modern, purpose-built mobile blood donation units under the “I BELIEVE AND HELP” brand – in service to millions of people throughout Bulgaria.

Over the past 10 years, the “I BELIEVE AND HELP” Charitable Campaign has donated more than 25 pieces of specialized medical equipment, including: incubators, neonatal resuscitation and warming stations, neonatal vein finders, medical devices, pediatric ambulances, accessories used by healthcare professionals treating thousands of patients – both children and adults.

The campaign’s greatest success to date came in early 2023, with the purchase and donation of the first fully equipped pediatric/neonatal ambulance for the city of Varna. The ambulance, branded “I BELIEVE AND HELP,” was custom-built to meet specialized medical needs and is capable of serving patients ranging from newborns just a few hours old to elderly individuals in critical condition.

At the end of 2023, another major achievement was reached: the donation of a fully equipped mobile blood donation unit, also under the “I BELIEVE AND HELP” name. For several months now, this unit has been actively promoting and supporting voluntary blood donation efforts, helping to save lives across the country.
