A large-scale event for collecting plastic bottle caps, small coins, and monetary donations on APRIL 20, 2024, in front of the “St. Assumption of the Virgin Mary” Cathedral, city of Varna

The 10th Anniversary Charity Event will take place this Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, on the square in front of the “St. Assumption of the Virgin Mary” Cathedral in the city of Varna. During the event, tens of thousands of people from across Bulgaria will hand over plastic bottle caps, small coins (stotinki), and monetary donations in support of the “I Believe and I Help” charity campaign, benefiting thousands of babies, children, and adults!

During the event, everyone will be able to hand over their plastic bottle caps and coins of all denominations (0.01 BGN, 0.02 BGN, 0.05 BGN, 0.10 BGN, 0.20 BGN, 0.50 BGN, 1 BGN, and 2 BGN), or pick up a keepsake from the large charity bazaar. Every single lev collected will go 100% solely toward supporting and helping our causes.

We remind everyone that plastic bottle caps should be handed over in bags, sacks, or boxes — but NOT in canisters/jugs, so as not to hinder the volunteer work of the dozens of volunteers on the square.

During the charity bazaar, there will be:

• “Water with a cause” in 0.5-liter, 1.5-liter, 5-liter, and/or 10-liter bottles from aquabella.bg;
• Spelt products (pretzel sticks, noodles, and/or couscous with a cause) from perun.bg;
• “Children’s pretzel sticks and bread with a cause” from savimex.bg;
• Various bamboo utensils and items from mymunche.bg;
• “Boza with a cause” from BIG BOZZ;
• “Keychains, car stickers, magnets, and puzzles with a cause” from stemaprint.net;
• “Mugs and t-shirts with a cause” from buhalmugs.com.

All volunteers taking part in carrying, loading, sorting, and counting the plastic bottle caps, coins, and monetary donations will be supported by aquabella.bg and their donated “water with a cause,” hundreds of packets of “children’s pretzel sticks with a cause” from savimex.bg, hundreds of “pizzas with a cause” from fratelli.bg, hundreds of sandwiches from SKY FOOD BG, hundreds of pastries from the Skladat OOD confectionery, hundreds of servings of lemonade from sofresh.bg establishments, and much, much more…
